inside my mind as the morning sun sits on my window sill

It's 630 AM.
I have to wake up in an hour to get ready and out the door by 915 (early enough to get breakfast before) for my 10 AM class. I don't find it necessary to go to sleep until then. However, I'm suddenly, finally, feeling somewhat tired. My REM schedule is so fucked up, now that I'm in college. I was doing so well the first few weeks, and now this?! My mom would be so ashamed. BUT, she's not here, so I can't go by that now. As the sun rises, I really consider getting at least an hour's worth of rest... I know my body won't handle going all day and getting back at the dorm at 630 pm only to do a shit-load of homework: 3/4 of an essay and about 1/3 of my astronomy lab. And who knows if anything else is gonna be thrown in. Why did I choose astronomy!? And why do I have my major as journalism? I don't understand myself sometimes and why I make the decisions that I do. So many questions about my future career race through my conscious mind:
What do I WANT to do with a degree in journalism?
What CAN I do with a degree in journalism?
What WILL I end up doing with a degree in journalism?
Part of my wants to change my major, but... what would I change to? Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics involves way too much math... besides, you have to be calculus ready, which I am not. I guess I could just major in English, like I always thought I would. But what would I do with THAT degree? I just don't understand anything anymore. People, life, love, knowledge. What is all of this anyway? What are we, what am I, what are you, what are penguins? I could ask on forever if I wanted, but I won't. It's too late (too early?). I've been typing for about 20 minutes. Maybe I could try to get about 30-45 minutes of sleep before I have to shower and prepare myself for the long, strenuous day ahead. Boring astronomy lecture, math test, boring journalism, and boring mass communications. This is going to be exhausting. Literally. If you've read this far and are interested in poetry, I wrote a poem about 25 hours in my previous post. Feel free to read and leave comments; I'd greatly appreciate both, especially the latter.

Ten AM.
I make it to class with just under a minute to spare.
The second my foot came within the barrier and my eyes looked into the room...
the class was basically empty.
There seriously is no more than 50 kids, from the original... I dunno... 150-200?
Yeah, NO ONE shows up any more, it's ridiculous.
Dead noise.
Awake silence.
Irony? Or truth?
Either way.. it feels weird coming to class.
I, myself, haven't shown up to class in a few sessions.

Keel just announced how midterms grades are gonna work.
Lowest quiz-drop will NOT be in effect in time for mid term grades.
82-100% - A
70-81% - B
60-69% - C
50-59% - D
I say that's pretty good. I hope I'm at least in the 60's... if not higher.
Speaking of grades, I'm gonna start working on that extra credit he mentioned a while ago.

Oh, an I realized about 2 minutes after leaving my dorm, and two minutes too late, that I left my phone on my bed. So I won't have that until... 11230 or so. But, it's only a few hours, and I still have you (the blog) and Facebook to entertain me for the next hour.
I DO have a math test in about an hour and a half... Bleh.

I do think that having ChickFilA for breakfast was a really good choice today. Chicken Minis were good as well as the hash browns. &&&&& The Dr. Pepper is fresh and tasty! :) Today is mostly good.
